It is an issue that has been discussed by the philosophical and religious leaders of the world since the beginning of time. Why does God allow catastrophes to take place? We don't pretend to have a simple answer and the President does not present one in this movie. But he does present an honest statement of faith that could relate even to people who are not religious.
